What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads and visits — for example, that you are signed in. Similar browser technologies, such as local storage, do the same kind of job with more capacity. “Cookies” in this policy covers both.
Essential cookies
Livora uses one essential cookie:
Set when you sign in, so the Platform can keep you authenticated as you move between pages. It is marked HttpOnly (not readable by scripts in your browser) and expires when your session ends. Without it, you would have to sign in again on every page.
The Platform also stores your sign-in token and basic account details in your own browser's local storage so the dashboard can restore your session on that device. You can clear this at any time by signing out.
Analytics cookies
Livora does not currently use analytics cookies or built-in usage trackers. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and the cookies will be listed here with their purpose and retention period.
Preference cookies
We do not currently use separate preference cookies. Preferences you set in the product — such as notification settings — are stored with your account rather than in your browser.
Marketing cookies
Livora does not use marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not run cross-site tracking of any kind.
Managing cookies
Because the cookie we use is essential to signing in, there is nothing to switch off without losing core functionality. You can still control cookies through your browser settings — blocking or deleting them is always possible:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking the session cookie means you can browse the public marketplace, but signing in will not persist between pages.
Retention periods
- Session cookie: expires when your session ends or you sign out.
- Local storage (sign-in token): remains on your device until you sign out or clear site data.
Third-party services
The public pages of the Platform load web fonts from Google Fonts to render typography. No third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services are embedded in the site.
