LivoraPrivacy Policy

Legal

Your privacy matters.

This policy explains what information Livora collects across the property journey, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights you have.

Last updated: 23 September 2026 Status: draft for legal review
Legal review notice. This policy describes the Platform's actual data practices. Jurisdiction-specific rights wording (for example, the exact list of rights available in your country) is pending legal review and will be finalised with counsel per market. We do not claim compliance with any specific privacy law on this page unless that compliance has been verified.

Information We Collect

We collect information you give us, information generated as you use the Platform (such as messages, applications and transaction records), and technical information needed to run and secure the service (such as authentication records and audit logs).

Information You Provide

  • Account information: name, email address, password (stored only as a hash), country and role.
  • Profile information: display details you choose to add, such as your phone number and professional details.
  • Content you post: listing details and photographs, reviews, and messages you send through the Platform.
  • Support enquiries: the name, email and message you submit through contact forms.

Property & Transaction Information

When you take part in a transaction, we record the steps needed to make it auditable: applications, viewing requests, agreements and their signatures, payment intents, receipts, payouts, ledger entries and dispute cases. This record exists so that the history of a transaction can be reconstructed and supported if a concern arises.

Identity / KYC Information

To unlock listing, payment or verification capabilities, we collect identity information appropriate to your role and market — for example government-issued identification and supporting documents. These are processed through the Platform's verification workflows, reviewed by authorised reviewers, and their status is recorded on your account. We do not display your identity documents to other users; only verification statuses are shown.

How We Use Information

  • Operating your account and the marketplace (search, listings, saved properties, messaging).
  • Running verification, KYC and document-review workflows.
  • Recording and reconciling payments, receipts, payouts and disputes.
  • Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • Responding to support requests and legal requests where lawfully required.
  • Maintaining audit logs for accountability.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Platform:

  • Between transaction parties: the information each party needs to proceed (for example, a landlord sees the applicant's name and application details). Identity documents are not shared between users.
  • With service providers: infrastructure and payment providers processing on our instructions (see below).
  • For safety and legality: where required by law or to protect rights, safety and property, or to respond to valid legal requests.
  • Aggregated statistics: platform-level counts that do not identify individuals.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service Providers

The Platform relies on service providers for hosting, data storage and payment processing. Providers act on our instructions and handle data only for the services they provide. Where a specific provider processes your data, its role is limited to what is necessary for that service.

Data Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data: hashed passwords, session-based authentication, role-based access controls for staff functions, rate limiting, audit logging and fraud monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards where needed to satisfy audit, legal, accounting or reconciliation obligations — for example transaction and ledger records connected to completed payments. Records subject to an open dispute or legal request are retained until the matter is closed.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use a small number of essential technologies: a secure session cookie when you sign in, and browser storage that keeps you signed in on your own device. We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. Full details are in the Cookie Policy.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your country, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, and to receive a copy of it. The Platform supports privacy requests — access, correction, deletion and restriction — which you can raise from your account or through support. We verify the identity of the requester before acting.

Pending legal review: the precise set of rights and response timelines that apply in each supported market.

International Data Transfers

Livora operates across multiple countries, and your information may be processed in a country other than your own. Where that happens, we apply safeguards appropriate to the transfer. Pending legal review: the specific transfer mechanisms for each market.

Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as practices or features evolve. Changes are published with a new “Last updated” date, and material changes are announced on the Platform.
